Meet Hunter, Playful Pup of the Week

Meet Hunter aka Honey-bunny,  Sweetie-bear.

Hunter is full of personality, is very scampy, and is such a clown!  He often makes funny faces with lip curls (like Elvis), grunts when trying to get your attention (“rrr-uh”), tilts his head when you’re talking to him, and loves to sleep upside down either curled up in a pretzel knot or with legs straight up in the air. When he’s over-tired, he torpedoes “his” couch with vigorous scratching alternated with manic twisty dive-bombs of upside-down squirming, as though frantically trying to scratch his back.

Hunter is completely obsessed with food and has a bottomless pit for a stomach! He also loves snuggles, bubbles, walks on the beach, and running like a stallion in any wide open (fenced!) area. His favourite toy and best bud is Mr. Smiley.

Hunter loves all of his humans with all his heart. His tail thumps every time he hears one of his pack approaching from another room and he gets really excited whenever someone mentions Nana and Papa. Of course, his Playful Paws Aunties are his favourite “extended family/pack members”!

Hunter has a mind of his own and is very sensitive too, so he doesn’t much like being told “No” or being scolded. He can be timid at times and sometimes barks at others when he gets nervous. He and his Playful Paws Aunties are still working hard to train his Mom.
